The Museum runs a varied programme of talks throughout the year to which all are invited.
Our next talk, ‘Post Haste’, will be by renowned philatelist Peter Cockburn. Peter will tell us about the history of the post through Cuckfield and surrounding districts and demonstrate how important Cuckfield was in terms of mail delivery. He will also outline the various routes for the mail from East Grinstead, Crawley, Cuckfield and, more recently, Haywards Heath.
The talk will be held on THURSDAY 8th OCTOBER at 2.30pm in the Queen’s Hall Council Chamber, Cuckfield.
Tickets are purchased on the door and are charged at £3 for Friends and Patrons, £5 for visitors. Please do drop us a quick note at events@cuckfieldmuseum.org to let us know if you plan to attend so that we can manage numbers.
